Turn after turn the game continues until one of the players draws an exploding kitten card if that player has a defuse card in his hand he’s safe (for now!), otherwise he’s out of the game. Insert the extra Defuse cards and Exploding Kitten cards (always 1 less than the number of players) back into the deck shuffle and place it face down: this will be the Drawing Pile.ĭuring each turn, you have several options: Shuffle the deck and deal 7 cards to each player. Note: in a game with only 2 – 3 players, put only two of the extra Defuse cards into the deck. Deal 1 Defuse card to each player and insert the remaining ones into the deck.
Start the game by removing all the Exploding Kitten and Defuse cards, leaving them on the side for now.
